 LION ROAR1 worship time

" Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day. - Psalm 71:8

There is one duty of man here on earth, particularly those who know their maker and Lord, that is to learn to worship the God of creation. Those who are born again and therefore washed by the blood of Christ through his sacrificial death on the Cross of Calvary will one day be taken up to meet the Lord in Heaven! Over there, the angels worship the God of Creation all day long singing "Holy, holy Lord God almighty." We the redeemed, who have the privilege of entering the glorious place called heaven (Revelation 21) will join the angels in worshiping in His presence! What a glorious experience this will be!

God expressly made us (man) for a deep relationship of fellowship and worship. We were made to worship His majesty. We get glimpses of what it will be like standing in His presence when we read the scriptures and learn about the experiences of men who were show what Heaven is like. Whiles here on earth we're called to worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness 1 Chronicles 16:29 "Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."

There is a way to truly worship God that believers in Christ are called to learn. In Psalm 5:23 the Bible says " Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God." Jesus told the woman at the well that "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” - John 4:23-24.  The Jews who God revealed Himself to in the time of old give us an understanding of what true worship is and what Jesus meant when He said true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. In this series of messages we will be examining the various ways worship was conducted by the Jews and look at key words of praise and worship and understand their meaning and apply them to our worship today in order to touch the heart of the Father, in ways that brings down His glory upon the Church, the bride of His Son, Jesus Christ. Don't miss these series starting 11th May, on Sundays and Thursdays and come with friend to learn how to deepen your worship experience as a child of God and bring delight to the heart of our father, who is in Heaven!

See you there and be blessed!!!
